- JOHN FREDERICK: Born 15 June 1872 in West Webbery, Alverdiscott; birth regd Torrington Sep 1872 (Summerwill). Better known as FREDERICK JOHN. At home in 1881 census, aged 8, scholar; 1891 census, aged 17, shop outfitter. In 1901 census at 37 Queen St, Rushden, Northants, age 27, clothier (assistant), boarder of Tom Wheeler, master plumber. Married (Summerwell) FRANCES LOUISA WOODCOCK on 2 April 1902 in Kettering; regd Kettering Jun 1902. Living in Barnstaple area in 1905 when son Frederick Lindsay is born. Frederick John became a special constable in Crediton in 1919, where he ran a menswear shop at 129, High Street. Frances Louisa died 1934; Frederick John died 1943, possibly from a traffic accident, both buried in Crediton Cemetery
- FREDERICK LINDSAY (Summerwell): Born 27 June 1905 in Barnstaple; birth regd Barnstaple Sep 1905. Followed his father's trade and trained as a tailor. Joined the Army during WWII. Married FLORENCE CATHERINE RATTENBURY in 1942, daughter of William Rattenbury, tailor. Frederick Lindsay took over father's shop in Crediton, where son Peter Charles was born. Florence Catherine died 1967. Frederick Lindsay died 1975. Both buried in Crediton cemetery
- PETER CHARLES: Born 20 March 1946 in Crediton. Spent childhood in the Devon countryside helping farmers with their cattle. Obtained a Diploma in Horticulture from Kew Gardens in 1969. Married URSULA PROUDLOCK, from Newcastle, in 1968. Moved back to Devon in 1974 when Frederick Lindsay ill and lived in Exeter. Peter Charles died 2 April 2007
- HEIDI URSULA: Born 14 May 1973 in Winchester; spent childhood in Exeter; BSc(Hons) Computer Science at DeMontfort University 1991-1995; married Richard Edward Gillard, Derby, 24 May 1997; living and working in Middlesex
- EDWARD LINDSAY: Born 6 July 1977 in Exeter; living and working in Exeter
