Office 1 Jan 1911, and daughter Mary named. However, marriage registers give year as 1912. In 1921 census George is at 63 Broadway, Treforest, Glam; visitor at home of George Pearce; married; age 30yrs 11mths; general labourer, HMOW Rhydfelen. Other visitors include Hilda Somerville, 31yrs2mths; born Reddish, Stockport; actress out of work. No marriage to a Hilda recorded. In 1921 Census Mary, age 29, born Stockport, housewife, is with her mother, Mary Jane Campbell, 57, at 3 Bennetts Court, Ratcliffe St, Stockport, though described as 'visitor'.
